Drinks & Mortar: Help Keep Your City Clean

Drinks and Mortar, a monthly happy hour for people who are interested in cities, will be from 7-10 pm this Thursday, February 26th, at Mandina’s, 1319 Saint Louis Avenue in comeback-a-riffic Old North St. Louis.
That’s right, drinks will be in my awesome neighborhood this month.
It’ll be an evening of cheap drinks and good company, half a block from Crown Candy. See you there!

Dewey Decimal Drinks tonight: Booklovin’

Valentines, schmalentines. Unlike a real date, a romance novel is there for you any time, and it’s not rude to skip ahead to the steamy part. And it doesn’t want flowers, or dinner reservations.
But hey…. If you’d like to hang out with other book-lovers, tonight is your opportunity. It’s time for Dewey Decimal Drinks, the monthly happy hour for librarians and bibliophiles. Starting at 7pm on Thursday, February 12, we’ll gather at good ol’ Riley’s Pub, located just east of Grand at 3458 Arsenal. Riley’s has booze, a comfy neighborhood pub atmosphere, and St. Louis style pizza that is actually good. It is easily accessible to the #30 Soulard and #70 Grand buses.
Hope to see you there!
Spread the word,
Claire-ian the Librarian
